We helped run the third annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, the three-day food festival in which all of the proceeds directly benefit hunger relief, on behalf of Food Bank For New York City, one of the country’s largest food banks working to end food poverty.

Volunteer: Meal Prep with God’s Love We Deliver
We helped prepare meals for people in NYC suffering from life-threatening illnesses. We must have chopped 200 carrots!

Volunteer: Gardening in Riverside Park
We pitched in to the Woodland Restoration Project at Riverside Park to help pull up the weeds and beautify the park!

Volunteer: Sports and Recreation with Disabled Children
We spent one-on-one time playing sports and creating arts and crafts projects with kids with disabilities with KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now).

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Join us as we play with the kids -- of all ages -- at the Association to Benefit Children while their parents take various educational classes. Arts and crafts and other activities will make it a fun time for everyone. We'll be divided into classrooms based on what age group we'd each like to work with. Lunch will be provided (please don't bring in any outside food).
