Urban Girl Squad is pleased to introduce Urban Mom Squad -- a social group for mothers of children aged five or younger. With mom-only evening events and daytime kid-friendly events, there is something for every mom! Bring your friends or come on your own - at each event, you'll have the chance to meet new dynamic moms in the city.
Wednesday 8/11 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM Looking to recharge your body and mind? Join Urban Mom Squad for a night of mingling and working out at Exhale! From 6:30PM-7:30PM, we'll have an exclusive discussion with a top Exhale 'Nutrition + Wellness' coach who will speak about achieving balance in our lives. During this session you'll have the opportunity to have your nutrition questions answered and mingle with other amazing moms.Exhale 150 Central Park South $15.00 We'll then have the choice of enjoying an exhilarating 60-minute Core Fusion Cardio class OR a soothing 75-minute Yoga class. Core Fusion, one of Exhale's signature classes, incorporates elements of core conditioning, Pilates, Yoga, the Lotte Berk Method and interval cardio training. Exhale's Yin & Restorative Yoga class combines joint relief and stretching for a class so relaxing it feels like a massage! Both classes are a complete mind body experience. Monday 8/2 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Learn how to take beautiful, professional pictures with your regular camera with Marci Clark of Marci Clark Photography! Marci will give us quick and easy tips on how to create memorable keepsake portraits of your child. You'll then receive a private mini-photoshoot of you and your child by Marci in one of the city's most beautiful locations in Central Park. Central Park, Turtle Pond (Mid-Park between 79th and 80th Streets) $35.00 During the session, moms and kids will be entertained by celebrated children's musician Joanie Leeds! Joanie will be singing and playing songs from her award winning albums "I'm A Rock Star" and "City Kid." At this summer fun event, you'll receive: Each ticket is good for one mom and one child. If you would like to bring more than one child, please buy additional tickets here. This event is for two separate groups, with some overlap in between where you can meet more moms!
